Engineered for saturation grit blasting high volumes of small components, the Guyson EB1 blasting process features four Guyson Model 900 blast guns, mounted on a fully adjustable support arm. This configuration allows each gun to be positioned independently, ensuring the optimum angle of attack and stand-off distance, from both the tumble belt and components for consistent, high-quality results.
Each blast gun is equipped with its own electrical switch, enabling operators to adjust individual guns and the blasting process in real time to suit specific finishing application needs. Once blasting is complete, an integrated post-blast air wash removes any residual blast media and dust, leaving components clean and ready for the next stage of production.
At the core of the Guyson EB1 design is a durable 6mm multi-ply tear and abrasive resistant rubber belt, driven by a variable speed motor. Fully adjustable via the HMI control panel, the belt speed can be precisely matched to the application, ensuring components are tumbled effectively whilst minimising the risk of damage.
The intuitive HMI/PLC interface gives operators complete control over the blasting process, allowing them to create, edit and store recipes, as well as adjust blasting speed, belt speed and cycle duration to deliver their desired results.
